IT WAS THE LAST DAY of the Cherry Festival. The neighborhood was so peaceful as we sauntered along the sidewalks working our way into the hustle and bustle of the midway. How nice that Arnold Amusements seems to have updated their rides just a bit.
In our outing, I split some Gibby’s fries with Nancy and her daughter. This brought back fond memories of going with my kids and trying to decide between covering the fries in a malt vinegar, and salt, or dotting the gems with squirts of Hunt’s tomato ketchup.
The verdict is still out.
