Removing Stains

IT HAS TAKEN ME NEARLY SEVENTY YEARS to learn how to eliminate stains on my clothes. I admit I am not careful in my eating habits which would help prevent many of these telltale spots. Stains are as familiar to me as a daily prayer is to the Dalai Lama.

Napkins are readily available, but I’m a bit lackadaisical when it comes to that. The spots usually arrive half on my shirts and half on my pants after a meal, or snack. This carefree eating is one of the great pleasures I enjoy as a male. I realize it may also have something to do with my interest in remaining single.

I have little fear of spots because I am armed with the knowledge of how to remove them. I went down paths with so many products, coaxed by commercials and misguided advice. None of them lived up to their claims.

If you desire enlightenment simply try a trial size of Dawn detergent and an old toothbrush. Two seconds of effort is all it takes to spot the spots prior to laundering – Yes, knowledge is power.

This is serious business and you can take this tip to the bank.
