Reducing The Clutter

Keeping It Simple

I finally sat on my rocking chair.

It had been in my bedroom

In the same spot

For more than five years.

Never had I just sat.

My cat wouldn’t like that

As it is his resting place

When he tip-toes upstairs.

How many objects in my life

Do I have that take up space

Filling voids, collecting dust

That I don’t really need?

There are many possessions

That will require my attention

To make my life clutter-free.

A worthy goal, I’m sure you’d agree.
